We are an authentic, totally unique Lappish tour destination for groups traveling to Northern Finland and/or Norway.
We are a reindeer farm with huge love and passion for the reindeer, and decades of herding and training knowledge.
With us you can travel back in time, and feel the real, old Lapland, plus of course fall in love with these exquisite animals.

I am Marko Sokero, the reindeer herder and trainer at Nuorti Reindeer.
Ever since I was a little boy I wanted to work with reindeer. I have always loved nature and wandering in the wilderness of Lapland. Everything I know about reindeer I have learned from the best - the old “reindeer men”. And I will teach those things to my children too. When I am not with my reindeer I am most likely gone fishing.
I have trained sleigh reindeer for safaris for many years at Nuorti Reindeer, and I am happy to be able to offer something different for tourists coming to this area. Authentic experiences and lifelong memories about real Lapland.
All our reindeer have names, and they are part of the family.
In the wintertime our reindeer live in their winter fence.
Every summer they have their well-deserved summer vacation in the wilderness. (Well some of them choose to stay at our front yard for the whole summer, and that is actually really funny.)
In the fall and early winter the reindeer round-ups and separations take place, as they are reassembled for driving and training.
